Each Unit of the Sam's Learning Tree has separate facilities, all of which are well designed and provide appropriate activities for the ages and development of the children within. Each unit has a music system, television with video/DVD unit and is equipped with toys/games and educational items to promote active learning. These include jigsaws, matching games, musical instruments, beads, pasta, sand, water, wooden blocks, Lego, Duplo, Bean Bags, cars, dolls, trains, books, role play, dressing up, art and craft (paper, paint, glue, crayons, pencils, scissors, dough), cookery, heuristic play (natural items), small world toys, computers, tumble tots exercise videos and many more.

Baby Unit – From 4 weeks to 12 months. This unit has a sleep/quiet room and a feeding/activity room. It has a separate change area and has direct access onto the main outdoor play area. They also have access to another smaller outdoor play area that they share with the Tweenies.

Tweenies Unit– from 12 months to 24 months. This unit has 2 Carpeted play rooms and a cushioned floored activity room. They have a separate changing area and have their own outdoor play area. They also have access to the main play area.

Toddler Unit– from 2 to 3 years old. This unit has 2 carpeted play rooms and a cushion floored activity room. They have a separate bathroom which has a change table and 2 low level toilets.

Pre-School Unit - for children over 3 years who are being prepared for school. Some of these children will attend the Free Sessions, others will attend the Nursery classes at the local primary schools. The Pre-School Unit is an extension of our original building and opened in January 2006, it is split on 2 floors - an upstairs carpeted area and a downstairs cushion floored area. Both floors have bathrooms. This area has its own outdoor area and has direct access onto the main outdoor all-weather play area.

Sam's Club - for children of full time school age. This area has a cushion floored room and a 2 carpeted rooms with separate toilets. It has 2 computers, a VTech game, Football table and many more toys and games to stimulate your child's mind while playing.

Tweenie/Baby Outdoor Area – this area is designed for the smaller/younger child with all-weather cushioned flooring and shaded areas. It has a house, a slide, a small climbing frame and various ride on and push along toys.

Main Outdoor Area - the area has all-weather cushioned flooring for full use during both dry and wet weather. It has lots of outdoor play equipment including Little Tikes activity units.There is an outdoor shed containing lots of sports equipment to encourage all of the children to enjoy being active.
