During meals and snacks we encourage social awareness, which has often been noted to improve younger children’s eating habits. The meal plan is nutritionally balanced and varied, and we try where possible to provide fresh seasonal produce, a sample meal plan is indicated below for a 3-year-old child on the full day basis.

Morning snack (9.00am)Toast and milk
Lunch (noon)Homemade Chicken Pie with Peas and Carrots followed by Jelly and Ice Cream
Afternoon Snack (3.00pm) Fresh fruit or a biscuit and water/juice
Tea (4.00pm)Wholemeal banana sandwiches, carrot sticks and sliced fresh fruit.
Drinks offered - Water, Full Cream Milk and a variety of sugar free Juices.
We employ a qualified chef who cooks all food on a daily basis. If your child has special dietary needs, these need to be noted on the application form prior to admission. We are able to cater for various diets such as Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, lactose free etc and will be happy to discuss your child’s menu in more detail.
Any member of staff preparing snacks will have valid food hygiene certificate.
