Nappies will be checked on a regular basis and changed as and when required.If parents have no objections during a nappy changing the child will be given several minutes ‘Nappy Free Time’ to kick and let air get at their little ‘derrieres’.

The older toddler will be encouraged to learn how to use the toilet, by observing more experienced toddlers using them and at a stage that both parents and the staff feel is opportune. All children will be accompanied to the toilet and they will be encouraged to learn how to do everything alone.

Any nappy changes will be recorded throughout the day and any observations made, a sure sign of tummy upset/teething etc.

Each Nappy changing area is equipped with changing tables, storage area for Nappies and Wipes, Sterile Nappy Disposal Unit and in the Toddler Area there is also, children’s wash hand basins and toddler toilets. Please label all nappies, wipes, creams etc.
